Hridaya Yoga is a Spiritual Path to reveal the Spiritual Heart as the reality of your own Being.

It is based upon traditional spiritual principles and visions from Classical Yoga, Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, Advaita Vedanta, Tantra, Kashmir Shaivism - as well as drawing parallels with teachings from Sufism, Christianity, Buddhism and Taoism. The main methods used are - Hatha Yoga, techniques for quietening the mind and developing the ability to concentrate, and most importantly meditations for the revelation of the Spiritual Heart.

Hridaya is the Sanskrit word for Spiritual Heart, and rather than solely encompassing the physical heart or energetic heart, Hridaya in this instance is referred to as the Seat of the Self - the essential, ultimate, ineffable dimension of our Being - where we ask the Question Who Am I?

In Hridaya Yoga & Meditation there is a movement from using the heart as an object of knowledge, then as an instrument of knowledge, finally revealing itself as the very subject of knowledge.

The Space:

The retreat will be held at the serene and tranquil Linhay Retreat Space on the edge of the picturesque Exmoor National Park. 

The Linhay provides luxury accommodation for 16 people in the picturesque Exmoor National Park. With views of the valleys and rolling hills of Exmoor. This is the perfect space for our Silent Meditation Retreat. The Linhay offers a variety of accommodation options to suit your needs:

  • Private Double & Shared Twin
  • Calming yoga and meditation space
  • Relaxing communal spaces
  • Ample space to commune with nature 

Arrival options vary depending on whether you come by Car, Train or Plane.
